CONSTANTINOPLE, April 23. A battalion of regulars at Erzcroum revolted, seized Konak. and proclaimed the Sheriat. The foreigners had to take refuge in their Consulates

5000 of Shevket's troops have landed at Ismid to intercept Constantinople fugitives.
[Ismid is across the Sea of Marmora from Constantinople, at the base of the tongue of land which, jutting out, forms the strait of the Bosphorus.]
