PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS.

A Wellington protest

(Per United Press Association)

WELLINGTON, April 16. The Wellington Employers' Association passed a resolution to-night approving of the resolution passed by the New Zealand Federation Advisory Board with reference to the question of preference to Unionists, also recording its determination to resist any attempt to curtail the right of free selection of workmen, and declining to accept the dictum of the Arbitration Court that employers should refuse to engage workers unless they become members of Unions.
