SCULLING
U.B.C. "FERRY" HANDICAP SCULLS.
The weather was very unfavourable for sculling last evening, when N. Christiansen (2 seconds) met T. Anderson (15 seconds). The water was very- lumpy, and both boats shipped a considerable quantity. Christiansen got up to within a length o! his opponent before half the distance had been covered, but from thence on Anderson more than held his own, w'nning by about a length and a half. The following is the result of the draw for the third round, which takes place this evening:— B. Prideaux (6 sec.) meets D. Cor'iy (scratch) at 5, D. Dixon (4sec.) meets T. Anderson (15 sees.) at 5.30, R. H. Allen a bye.
