PALMERSTON N., March 17.
The A. i and P. Association Committee met here to-day and resolved that the Minister of Agriculture be written to expressing -satisfaction regarding the decision of phe Goyer.nmen£ . to erect tlie Dairy School in Palmerston.
Mr J. M. Johnston was appointed to represent the Society at the Sydney Royal Agricultural Show, a sum of £25 being voted towards his travelling expenses. ' The Committee expressed grateful appreciation of Mr J. M. Johnston's valuable services in regard to securing the Dairy School for Palmerston. Mr W. L. Wood, M.P., was also cord Tally thanked for his efforts. Mr Wood stated that the Government were ready to proceed with the work almost at once. The space the building wduld occupy would be « about 80 x 100 feet.
A sum of £300 was voted towards providing increased accommodation for the National Dairy Show.
