We submitted a well assorted catalogue of 280(1 skins and 300 hides to-day. The market for skius was weak, in sympathy with recent Home advices, and may be quoted £d to -Jd lower than last week. Hides were easier in light and medium sorts, and especially so for any damaged or inferior. We quote : — Skins.— Halfbred 9<f to 9£d, fine crossbred BJd to 9d, coarse to medium crossbred 7d to Bd, dead and inferior 6d te 7}d, lambs short 5d to 6d, lambs woolly 7d to 7|d, hoggets 6d to 6jd, green and damp 5s 6d to Bs. Hides. — Medium heavy ox s{d to 6 l-Bd, light ox 4|d to 4jd, cow heavy 4Jd to s}d, cow light and medium 4Jd to 4|d, damaged, hides 3d to 4d, calf sound 5Jd to 6£d, do. damaged and cut 4d to 4£d.
