Death of Old West Coasters.
HOKITTKA, October 9.
Alexander Singer aged to, for 43 years reader of the. local Synagogue, died this morning after a brief illness. The deceased was well known and widely respected throughout the West Coast.
The wife of George Shaw, an old resident of Kameri, also died last night at an advanced age. There have been an unusual number of deaths of aged people during the last month or two, thus thinning ont the ranks of the old pioneers.
