THE CHURCHES.
"Is there a definite course of belief and action portrayed in the Gospel?" A lecture on the above subject will be delivered at the Christadclphian service in the Druids' Hall, Bell Street, at 7 o'clock tomorrow evening. All welcome. The Salvation Army meetings all day to-morrow will be conducted by Adjutant Dickens. A special service will be conducted at night. Bros. Daviest, of Auckland will sing a solo. A welcome is extended to all. The Rev. E. Drake will preach twice at the Dublin Street Primitive Methodist Church to-morrow. Mr Hudson will preach at Sedgebrook. The Spiritualistic service (Fire Brigade Hall) will be conducted by Mr H. E. Howes, of England, on Sunday, October 21st, at 7 p.m. All welcome. The Rev. J. G. Chapman will conduct the services in the Trinity Wesleyan Church to-morrow. The morning subject is "The Greatest Victory," the evening subject, "A Dying Captains Request." At St. Paul's, to-morrow, children's' day will be observed. The sermon in thr morning will be for children and parents, and in the evening for young men and women. At 3 p.m. a special address to the children will be given in St. Pauls Hall. All parents and friends are cordially invited. The Rev. D. S. Mason, of Dunedin, will preach to-morrow morning and evening at the Baptist Church.
