DRAUGHTS.
Messr:. J. Ard-is^u and W. 11. Smith met in the final round for the District Draught . Championship last evening. A great cHil of interest was taken in the contest, and quite a number of playe's attended to witness the games. Mr Anderson opened with a "single corner," and although at one stage it appeared to the onlookers to be critical.. Tie succeeded in bringing off an easy win. Tho second game — .in "old foil teeulh" — was drawn, and likewise the third and fourth. The third game was a "single corner" and the fourth a "wilter." The play was of a one liie each, the final, on Friday evening high order, and each (-layer having now next, will be followed with the closest interest.
