HOCKEY. CANTERBURY DEFEATS OTAGO.
(Per United Press Association). DUNEDIN, September 15. The interprovincial hockey match, Canterbury v. Otago, was played on the Caledonian Ground, and resulted, after a good game considering the state of the ground, in a win for Canterbury by two goals to one. The winning goal was scored just before the call of time. .
