ABRAHAM AND WILLIAMS' STOCK REPORT.
At Palmcreton on Thursday a full yarding of cattle came forward, including several lines of 2£ to 3-year steers, and a good lino of 100 forward 4-year bullocks. Competition for grown steers was fairly good, and ruling rates were well maintained. For any lines of younger steers and well bred yearlings the demand was exceptionally keen. The sheep entry consisted chiefly of hogg<?t6. for which bidding was e<w*ier. The bulk of the entry was cleared at ruling rates. Quotations- — Good hoggets 17s, others 12s to 15a, cull hggete 88 7d, fat owes and wethers 2Ue 3d, forward wethers 17s, store ewes 10s 6d, 2tooth ewes 15s 6d, fat and forward ewes 15s to 16s, low-conditioned ewes and steers £5 2s, fat bullocks I' 7 11s, forward bullocks £ 6 12s 6d, 3-year steers £o 2s, 2 to 2^-year steers £.i 13s to £4, 18-month steers £2 to ,£2 7t» tid, 18-moi«iili > ,heifers H2s 6d to 303, yearlings 295, stole cows 28s to £2.
