lUNDON, June 19.
In the House of Commons. Sir Henry Campbell-Bannermr,n moved to apply the closuro to a resolution allotting thirteen days' discussion to the Education Bill in committee and tbree days for the report on the 4th August and resume in October, when the Mercnant Shipping and Workmen's Componeition Bills will be proceeded with. He doplored irregular interference with tha full debate, and hoped to submit a future scheme escaping tne necessity tor autocratic expedients. Ho predicted that soon the Parliamentary year will begin in autumn and end in July. Mr Balfour'e declaratory amendment was rejecfxvi by 341 to 171.
Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman's resolution was carried by 262 to 121, after the Government had conceded one more day for the discussion in committee.
