Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile) Agency Company report: — At Palmerston North on Thursday wo yarded about 500 bead of cattle, and p. pen of shorn wethers. There was a somewhat small attendance, and tho demand was hardly so good as last week. Practically the whole yarding, howover, was aild at satisfactory prices. Quotations:— Yearlings, small 15s to £1 0:: 6d, yearlings (good) 26s to 375, 15-month sters £2 5s 6d, 2-year steers stors cows £2 15s to £3 19s fat cows C- ( 9s d to £5 I7s 6d, 3-year steers £4 10-; 6d to £4 15s, "springing cows £3 17-i 6d to £5 10s, springing; cows £3 17« 6d io 17s 6d, Springing heifers £2 15s to £3 17s 6d. empty 2-year heifers £2 to £2 10s, bulls £2 to £2 10s.
