IN pursuance of "The Electoral , Act, 19U5," I, THOMAS DICK CUMMINS, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Wanganui, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 92nd day of November. 1905, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held for the return of a qualified person to servo as member for the said district; and that the latest dajr lor receiving nominations of candidates will be the 28th day of November, 1905; and that tho poll, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling-places of the said district on tho 6th day of December, 1905. • Every man desirous of becoming a candidate must be nominated by not less than two electors of the district, by a nomina-tion-pa], cr as prescribed by section 97 of the said Act, delivered to the Returning Officer on or before the 28th day of November, 1905. And I further give notice that under the "Licensing Act, 1895," a Local Option Poll will be held at the same time and place. I vote that the number of licenses existing in the district continue. 2. I vote that the number of licenses existing in the district be reduced. 3. I vote that no licenses be granted in the district.
