At the Tennis Championships, in tho Ladies' Singles, Miss Gyton, after defeating Miss Powdrell, defeated Miss Wilmot in the Snal: 6—4, 6—l.
The Gentlemen's Doubles, after a dingdong struggle of over three hours, was won by Tatchell and Lycett by 3 sets and 30 games to Barnard and Spence's 2 sets and 28 games. The closeness of the contest was evidenced by the fact that Barnard and Spence scored 203 to their opponents' 202 points. The final of the Mixed Doubles was postponed until Monday, Lycett being too -exhausted- for further play. •
