OLD BOYS (3) v. WAVERLEY (0).

On Saturday the Old Boys journeyed to Waverley and, expecting a hard struggle, strengthened their team by the inclusion of J. Blair and H. Play followed in Waverleys. 25 till they were awarded a free, which went out near tho half way line. Waverley then marked, an I had a shot at goal. Old Boys kicked to centre and Waverley kicked over Old Boys line a force resulting. The ball was then taken to Waverley 25, where play remained for -some time. Waverley then got a free, and kicked out aear the half way line, where play remained till the whistle blew for time. For the blues, Murray, Anderson, Blair, Jones, Pownall, Dogshun, Meuli and Craig played sound games, and for Waverley Thurston, Edwards, Powdrell, and Straehan were he best.
