Wheat. — Despite sensational reports of damage to crops in Russia and America. European markets are quiet, with rather an easier tendency. French harvesting reports arc- favourable. Cargoes are dull; oft coast are a shade firmer. Two cargoes sold at 325. Buyers are now offering' 32s 3d for August-September shipment. Australian on spot is in small supply at 33s Gd to 345. The American visible supply is 22,312,000 bushels. Flour is dull ; patents are quoted at — London 23s Gd, Glasgow 24s 6d to 255. Butter is firm and unchanged; saltless Canadian 109s to UOs.
