Dalgcty and Co., Limited, Wellington, have received tbe following cablegrams from their London office, dated 9th and 10th instant : — Since our last telegram prices of leather are unchanged. Basils are lower by $d per lb. Hides arc unchanged. Tallow. — Market firm. Prices are a shade easier.

Frozen Meat. — More demand for frozen beef and mutton at unchanged prices. New Zealand frozen crossbred lamb, heavy .weights, is lowed by l-8d per lb. Butter. — Tlie market is very firm in con. sentience of short stocks. Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. We expect rather higher prices. The total imports into the United Kingdom for the week ending sth instant were 90,000 cwt., as compared with 77,000 for the same period last year, showing 1 an increase of 13,00U cwt. More demand for unsalted than for salted.
