Herr Kumert, a Socialist member of the Reichstag, has been sentenced to three, months' imprisonment for delivering a-. speech at ' Halle, declaring that the Ger- , man East Asiatic Brigade, during- thef Boxer- troubles,. devastated the land, plundered, and violated women. Members of the Brigade testified to the soldiers pillaging, desecrating graves and temples, . and outraging women, and the officers looting. , Received June 29; 12.16 -a.m. ;„ ', BERLIN, 4 June 28.'
