A FAITHFUL DOG.
As Mrs F. w! Barnett, of Reedy Creek (Vie), •wara baking 1 in her house she was startled by the appearance of a largo snake, and uttering a shriek she sprang upon a chair. Her faithful pet dog rushed into the Jiouse, and after a struggle disabled the reptile, but not before its poisonous fanga had convoyed poison to the dog', which died ten minutes afterwards.
