WEDDING BELLS.

A -wedding in which prcat interest was taken was solemnised in the Weslevan' Church, Aramoho, on the 7th > AugUßt, the contracting parties being 'Mr Edwin Vincent Laws/ third son of Mr Thomas Laws, of 'Napier, and Miss Isabella Agnes Vincent, second daughter of Mr S. Vincent, of Wanganui. The. officiating clergy was the Rev. C. H. Laws, 8.A., brother of the bridegroom, , assited by Rev. Clarence Eaton. , The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very becoming in a dress of, dove grey, with white and prey silk trimming, wearing the orthodox veil and orange blossroms, mid carried a handsome shower bouquet. The bridesmaids in attendance were. Miss Georgina Gellatly, Miss Hilda Vincent (siter of the bride), and Miss Bertha Laws (sister of ttie bridegroom). The chief bridesmaid wore a pretty Magenta costume, with white silk front and i, white hat : Misses H. Vincent and B. Laws wore dresses of blue -flake, with white trimmings and white chiffon' picture hats, each carrying pretty bouquets and wearine the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Samuel* Vincent (brother of the bride) acted as best man. As the weding party entered tho church the choir, of which the bride was a member, and had formerly been organist, sang the well-known hymn, "The Voice that Breathed o'er Edcri," and as the happy couple left the church amidst showers of rice, the organist (Miss Wilton) played the "Wedding March." A largo number" of guests were entertained at the residence of tho bride's father, 'Etver Bank. • The newly-married couple left by the five • o'clock train for south, where their honeymoon will be spent. They will then return to Napier, their future home. The brideV travelling dress was of rod cloth, with black trimmings, and blach hat, of chiffon and tips. They received many useful and valuable presents. Being the first wedding celebrated in the new Wesleyan Church, according to custom the bride and brideejKwm. were yirescatftd ■with a Bible and hymn-book, the presentation beiug made by. the Rev. C. Eaton, on behalf of the trustees of the Aramoho Wesleyan Church.
