DEATH OF SON OF SIR JAMES HECTOR.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 18. Douglas Hector, third son of Sir James Hector, who left Wellington last month with his father on, a visit to the Rocky Mountains, died at Revelstoke, British Columbia, last Sunday from peritonitis. Sir James has abandoned his trip.
