TROUBLE AT LINCOLN COLLEGE.
Nearly Half the Students Rusticated. • (Per United Press Association.) 1 CJIEISTCIIURCII, March 10. OAu0 Au extraordinary incident has occurred a* the Lincoln Agricultural College, where the total number of students is twenty-two. This number has been suddenly reduced by ten. Eight of these are alleged to have been requested to leave the College by the director lot having refused to obtjy his orders ; 'the other two for having left in anticipation of receiving similar notice. It is stated that it is customary for students to have a half-holiday on Saturdays, but when, owing to the exigencies of the season, •'this half-holiday cannot be given on Saturdays, it in -usual to give a half-holiday on some other afternoon. Lately the students have been very busy harvesting, and last Satur- ' day tho ten students who have left tho«Collego were requested to continue work during tho afternoon, but refuser! to do so, as the director would not promise to give them a holiday on another afternoon. In consequence of this refusal, the director told oight of the students that they must either do" their work or leave, and the other two left, anticipating they also would be asked to do so.
