Railway Construction on a Big Scale. 30,000 Natives to be Employed Press Association.— Telegraph.— Copyright. Received March 30, 1.5 a.m. CAPETOWN, March 9. A conference at Johannesburg 1 approved the construction of seven lines, of 688 miles, costing .£5,161,000. It is estimated that 30,000 natives will be utilised on the railway works.
