■o The FuneralPress Association. — Telegraph. — Copyright Received March 10, 1.0 a.m. LONDON, March 9. Sir Gavan Duffy's funeral was a striking demonstration. The streets were full of sympathetic spectators. The procession was a mile and a half long, including rejjresentatives.of the Corporations of Dublin, Cork, and Droghcda. There were delegates from most of the pifßlic bodies in Ireland (especially from Monaghan), representatives from literary, political, and trade societies. Foresters, and athletic clubs. The Lord Mayor of Dublin and Councillors were present in their robes. Esmonde, Dillon, T. Healy, and several other members, of the House of Commons were present. Major D'obbyn represented Victoria. Dean Hegarty, Davitt, and a large number of the clergy were present. The Archbishop sent a carriage, he being unable to attend personally. Two thousand of the Catholic Boys' Brigade headed the procession. Two daughters and three of Sir Gavan Duffy's sons were present. Officers of the United Irish "League- draped a number of wreaths, including a magnificent one sent by the Memorial Committee.
