SUICIDE OF A NATIVE.
NAPIER, December 5.
Information was received in town to-day that a Maori shearer named Tukiuore. had hanged himself at the Pourerere station, on Thursday morninsr. The»native had cvi- i dently seated himself on the ground, fastened a rope round his neck, and tn6n tied the other end to' a fence, pulling it hack until life was pxtinct.
