Freeman R. Jackson and Co.'* Stook Report. -

At the .Waverley sale on Friday, 6th inst., we had a full yarding*. Bidding was dull throughout, and, not many cattle changed hands, owners' reserves being too high. We quitted the bulk ■ of the sheep., At Wanganui -yesterday our yards were full. Bidding for cattle was fairly brisk, -though, not selling all at auction, sold the bulk, after at full values. We had a good entry of sheep.' Ewes in lamb were dull of sale, but wethers and sound lambs- were more saleable. We disposed of several pens after the auction. Not many pigs were yarded. We quote: — -At Waverley.— Cattle.— ls to 18 months steers, JB3 Is to £S 9s 6d; springing heifers, £*• 10s to £h; weanerg, 228 to 355. Sheep.— Wethers, 9s to < 10s; lambs, 5s to 5s 9d; empty ewes, 3s 6d to 5s 6d; ewes in lamb (good), 8s 6d to 9s. At Wanganui. — Cattle— Fat cows, i! 6 ss; yearlings, 34s to £2 Is; weaners, 25s to 30s; small wean«as, 12s to 17s; store cows, ;C3 13s 6d; 15 to 18 months steers, JB3 10s to £Z 16s 6d; 2 to 2* year steers, £A 13s; cows and calves, £4 11s; springing heifers, £4, 18s to £6. Sheep— Fat ewes, 9s lid to 10s 6d; fat and forward do., 8s to. 9s; empty ewes, 2» 6d to 4s; ewes in lamb, 6s; wethers (2, 4,- and 6-tooth),. 9s , 6d; others,- 8s 8d to 8s 7d; shorn lambs, 4s 6dto ss; woolly do., 3s 9d. Pigs. —Porkers, 18s to 245; medium do., 13s to 16s.
