Full-rink tournament games were the. order of tho day on Saturday on the local green with the result that the first round was concluded at the following rinks: — No. I— Wright, Campbell, Hatherly, and Boss (sk) 18, defeated D. McFarlane, Griffiths, McCarthy, and Rodwell (sk) 15. No. 2 — ZandiT, Spiirdle, Weekes, and Moult (sk) 22, defeated Fountain, Rowley, Soler, and Bennie (sk) 14". No. 3— G.' Paterson, Hemus, May, and Armstrong (sk) 21, defeated Tuck, Stewart, Foster, and Elliott (sk) 17. No. 4 — Graham, Light', Dickson, and Purnell (sk) 29, defeated Bridge, Newcombe, Benefield, and A. McFarlane (sk) 12. The above matches were distinguished by. good play, and iv the instance of the one between Ross and Rodwell it .was only won on tho last head by the former. In the match between Moult and Bennie, tho latter was very much in evidence a.t ..-first, the scoring board showing 12 — -0; but ■ after that Moult put on 22 whilst Bennie was only enabled to add 2 to tho 12 already mentioned. Taylor, Gibbons, Barrett,, and Taw so (skip) won against Saphir, Hutton, Bleasel, and Kibblewhite by 22 points to 19. Mr Salmon is the latest addition to the- roll of membership, he having been elected on Saturday. In the Pairs Touraameut (President's aud vice-President's trophies), the following is the draw in the second round: — Armstrong and Newcombe v Dickson and McLean, Benefield and Wright v McFarlane and Rowley, Stewart and Sherriff v Soler and Kibblewhite, Boss and Taylor v South and Graham.

The following is the draw for the Sherriff-Lomax trophies: — Bennie and Taylor v Soler and McLean, McFarlanri and Lythberg v Hatherly and Zander, Weekes and Groig v Sherriff and Stew* art, Armstrong and Hemus v Fountain and Bridge, Paterson and Light a bye. The following is the draw for the second round of the Full-rink Tournament: — Perrett plays Bennie, Ross plays Moult, McFarlane plays Armstrong, Rodwell plays Purnell, and Elliott has a bye. The next round of the Pairs Matches must be finished by December 20th, and the Full-rink Matches by December 21st.
