WANGANUI STEAM LAUNDRY CO

The Wanganui Steam Laundry Company, which, we understand, ia about to commence operations at the latter end of this, or .\arly next week, is an institution the want of, which has long' been felt in this itown. This company has been fortunate in securing the building lately known as the Assembly Rooms, and in which has been stored 18 tons of machinery in readiness to be ? laced in position. Mr Lindsay-Ryan, a aundryman of wide experience, has been imported from Chicago (the largest industrial city in the world), to manage the concern, - and under his guidance we fail to see why the business Bhould not become a great suocess. As most of the capital required is already subscribed, those wishing to obtain shares in what must become a dividend-paying 'venture will do well' to make early application for such to the broker, Mr Lundon.
