ARRIVAL OF THE G. M. TUCKER
A TEMPESTUOUS VOYAGE. (Per DTiiterl Prpxc AnKnciutinn.i WELLINGTON, July 23. Captain Oliver, of the barque G. M. Tucker, reports fearful weather on the voyage across from Newcastle. The vessel's sails were blown away, the rigging damaged, and the forecastle knocked 'about. The officers and crew suffered privations,' and most of them bear .evidencos of injury during the buffeting about which the .vessel received. On Thursday weok the barque was off "Cape Farewell, but was blown 120 miles out to sea by a south-west gale, and the chief officer was washed overboard, but was pulled back on deck by the foot by ono df tho crew. Tho supply of frcsli water gave out, Vmt the ship's company managed to condense sufficient sea water for their requirements. The captain states that the voyage was the worat. in tho whole of liis long experience that he has had to encounter.
