MISS KATE NICHOLLS SACRED CONCERT,
We give a final reminder to our readers of the 'grand sacred concert to be given by Miss Kate Nicholls in the Opera House to-morrow night,, which will be the last opportunity the will have of hearing this rising singer's .fresh and powerful soprano voice, which is probably best suited to musio of a sacred class. Her items "Oh Divine Redeemer" (Gounod) and "The Soul's Awakening" (Haddock) are two of the best in her repertoire. MissTansley's numbers "Ora ' pro Nobis" (Piccolomini) and "Abide with Me" (Siddle) are well chosen, keif fine voice being heard to great advantage in* them. Mr Geo. Hall, tho well-known- and popular 'Christohuroh baritone, will bo heard for the first time before, a Wanganui audience in "Dream of Paradise" and "Nazareth". Mr Blennerhassott in. "Calvary" and "The First "Palm -Sunday," a violin solo, "Meditation" (Wilson by Mr Hathcrly and a recitation each by those wdl-inown performers, Mr R. H. Boyd and Mr J. G. Swan complete a most attractive programme and we confidently predict a bumper house.
