MELBOURNE, May 20. The Duke presented Mr Barton with & beautiful gold snuff-box, handsomely embellished with the Royal arms, also a monogram on blue enamel on the lid with large brown rubies arid Prince of Wales' feathers in diamonds tied on the clasp of emeralds, the .box being set with six large diamonds: '-, Messrs Jenkins (Clerk of Parliament), Chomley (Commissioner of Police), McCulloch (chairman of the Celebrations Committee), and Peacock (LieutenantGovernor) also received valuable gifts. The Royal guests left Government House at 11.30 for Port Melbourne, joined the train, and left for Brisbane at noon.
