The following heats for the Drew* Cup eventuated oil Saturday afternoon, when a considerable number of spectators rolled up to witness the' events. ' " ■■ .'j.» i( Tho second heat was between Bruco (stroSo), Korr (bow) and Mohohoy (stroke), A, Williams (bow). From tho start Bruco forged ahead, and was leading by three lengths .when passing tho stone groin, and appeared to havo tho raco well in hand, but Mahoney '(who was rowing all out) gradually decreased this gap, and on passing the old hospital had drawn up on oven terms with tli3 leading boat, and after an exciting rico Mahoncy won by a length. - • , 4' Lewis, who had to meet Tilley in tlio third round, was compelled to forfeit through not being able to get down ub tho time appointed for the raco. To-night, at 5.15, Tilley meets Williams in tho semi-final. This race ought to ba a fairly even one, but I shall givo ny preference to Williams. Mahouey, who has drawn a bye (j wiH row the winner of this heat to-mornw evening.
