The Government Thanked.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, January 16. ! At an open-air meeting, Mr W. Crowthor, M.H.R., presiding, a resolution was carried to the effect that the Government be thanked for .their services in the matter of prevention of the Austrian influx, and that they be a3ked to further use their influence to keep Austrians out of New Zealand.
