The manager of the North Gorman Lloyds Company lias cabled to Mr Seddon stating that ho has been informed by the Union Company that it would in futura refuse 'to carry all Austrians, with or without ntcans. As this means the exclusion of all Austrians— oven distinguished and prominent men— he asks the Premier to cablo under what Aot thoy aro excluded and whethor it is a fact that thero shall be no exceptions or limits to the money required. Latjkceston, January 17. The protest against the Austrians was the outcome of a cable stating that work could be found for several hundred men on railway construction, and that the Austrians refused admission to New Zealand were coming. Local labor is superabundant. , , •
