(Received January 16, at 9 a.m.) ' Pjietgma, January 15. The British residents at Johannesburg met to protest against the arreßt of the chairman ana seoretary of the Oufclanders' League. A number of burghers ana Afrikanaers were present, ana prevented the reading of a petition to the Queon. A free fight with ohairs ana benohes ensued.
