Tho following table, with tha names of clubs in alphabetical order, shows the various positions at tho end of tho day's P la y ; -L _.
It will thus be Been that Napier has a slight lead, and then como Wauganui and Feilding, followed by New Plymouth, Bemuera and Bluff Hill, but to-day's play may nuke a material alteration in the positions. The day's piny concluded about 7.20, a little bettor than the previous evening. , During the afternoon, tea and light refreshments were dispensed by Mrs Williams, Miss Williams and Miss Mitford.
. The visiting bowlers are to be enter ; tamed by tde Wanganui Bowling Club at a smoke concert to bo held to-morrow night at the Rutland Hotel, and it is expeoted that most of tho representatives will be enabled to leave on Monday next
