During the final test mutch Bannerman, tho Australian umpire, reported Storer for making objectionable remarks towards him, Storer said, ( 'You are a cheat, and you know it," WorrnH corroborated this, and also heard Stoier say, " You are making a win as3ured for Australia." The 'matter was referred to Stoddart's executive, who decided to report Storer to the Mary lebone Club unless he satisfactorily apologised to Bannerman. Storer preferred to have the case remitted to tho Marylobone Club, rather than apologise.
