Regatta Committee.
Thoio was a good attendance at the adjourned meeting of tho Wanganui Regatta Association at Foster's Hotel la°t evening, Mr C. V. Powell presiding. The canvasseib repotted that they had collected and been piomised about £80. It was decided to allot £80 for distribution amongst the lowing events as follows: — Maiden Fours, Ist £8, 2nd £2; Senior Outng, Ist £1">, 2nd £5; Senior In rig, Ist £12, 2nd £4 ; Junior Outiig, Ist £10, 2nd £3; Junior Inng, Ist £8, 2nd £2; Maiden Pair Oar, Ist £4. 2nd£l; and Senior Pair Oar, Ist £0, 2nd £1. The older of the piogiamme was arlanged as follows :— Maiden Fours, to start at 1.30 o'clock; Sonior Outiig, 2 o'clock ; Jumoi Iniig, 2.30 o'clock ; Maiden Pans, 3 o'clock; Collegiate Race, 3.30 o'clock; Senior Pairs, 1 o'clock; Junior Outiig, 4.30 o'clock ; and Senior Iniig, 5 o'clock. The committee in chaige of the Maoii canoe laces weio requested to arrange if possible to got off a cinoe lace between I each rowing event.
