Tho entries of sheep have been large during the past fortnight. We sold nearly all that came forward at full values. Wethers have been in good demand, and lambs are still inquired for. Our sales of cattle havo been better since our last report, and although the rates show so improvement in values, the demand has been brisker. At Waverley we had a full yard, and we cleared nearly the whole. Pigs were dull of sale yesterday, and at reduced prices. On Saturday we told a few good horses, and we have purchasers for really first-class hocks for export. Cattle.— At Feilding: Steers, £3 6s; cows. 20s to 255; yearlings, 235. AtFalmerston: 18-months-old steers, 30s to 345. At Waverley: 2i-year-old steers, £2 lls ; 18-months-old, 31s ; heifers, £2 17s 6d; yearling heifers, 22s 6d; bullocks, £4; calves, 12s; milch cows, £3 to £4.
Sheep. — At ITeilding: Store wethers, 89 to 8b 4d ; owes in lamb, 4s 6d ; shorn lambs, 4s 5d to 6s 2d ; lambs in wool, 6s Bd. At Palmerston : Ewes, 6s 3d to 7s 3d t wethers, 8b 7d; lambs, ss. At Wanganui: Store •wethers, 8s lid to 9a 7d; others, 7s 6d to 8s 6d; fat wethers, 9s 9d; ewes of uniform quality, 3s Id to 4s. At Waverley: Wethers, 8s ; fat ewes, 7s ; ewes in lamb, 6s to 8s; shorn lambs, 4s Bd. » Pigs.— Large pigs, 28s to 355; porkers. 12s to 17s. Horses.— Hacks (good), £8 to £3 17s 6d; others, £3 to £6. Poultry.— Fowls, 2s 6d to 3s 6d the couple; ducks, 3s to 4s.
