A STEEPLECHASE MEETING WILL HE HELD ON TUESDAY, 10th MAY, 1887. RULES. No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition— that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be deoided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programmo shall bo final. AU entries to be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Secretary, Hawera, entrance money enclosed, with the name, ago at time of entry, pedigree, and, in case of handicaps, performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in the colonrs entered will be fined 3 soys. Post marks will not be recoived in future under any pretence whatever, and nominations unpaid at tho timu of the due date of weights will be stsuck out of the list. When two or more horses start, the pro- ; petty of the same owner, a distinguishing I colour must be worn. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 2 snvs to the raoe fund. All rices to be mn under the new Rules of Racing.
