Spray was dam of Wetsail and Stormbird. Bedouin is sire of Witiora, who performed successfully on this coast and Auckland during the season 1883-84 j also, sire of Shamrock, who ran second for the big money in Hokitika, and won the Consolation same day,beating Lillipee and Beveral others. Bedouin was a successful performer on the turf, having ran second for the Auckland Handicap,- 1876, won by Ariel.
