It has been brought to the notice of the Publisher of the Uerald that papers adi dressed to Subscribers at Okehu and Nukumaru are frequently appropriated by nonsubscribers, to the great inconvenience of the settlers. It should be clearly understood that this system of petty pilfering is a criminal offence, the offenders laying them3elves open to a prosecution. After this notice, steps will be taken to protect Subscribers. The name of one offender is in the Publisher's possession.
