VIOLENT SCENE AFTER A MEETING.

Christchurch, March 12.
This evening, as the Salvation Army were returning to barracks after the usual parade through the streets, they were obstructed at the entrance, and in the struggle a mm was kicked dangerously, and a girl about eight years of age received a violent blow 'in the face. No arrest has been made, but one man is known.
