Received Nov 1, 1.20 a.m. ANOTHER FALSE REPORT. London, Oct 31. — The report that Hollenshead and Tettling had become insolvent is devoid of foundation. A BRITISH AND COLONIAL EXHIBITION. Arrangements have been made for an exhibition to take place in 1886, on the site now occupied by the intercolonial fisheries exhibition. It will be confined to the products of the various British colonies. DISASTROUS FXPLO3IONS IN LONDON Two disastrcms explosions, for which no explanation can bb given, occurred last evening 'on the underground Metropolitan railway. Thirty persons were seriously injured and the buildings - above the tunnel were Shattered by the force of the explosions. THE FRENCH IN TONQUIN. Pario, Oct 30. — In the Chamber of Deputies to-day, M, Challemell Lacour was questioned by the leaders of the Radical party regarding tho intention of t'.ie Government in connection with the expedition to Tonquln. In reply, M. Lacour stated that the French Government had resolved to push on operations in Tonquin firmly and rapidly. A debate on the subject ensued, bat was ultimately adjourned.
