No entry will be received for any race except upon this condition, — That all Disputes, Claims, and objections arising Out of tho racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be fiual. All Entries to be sealed and addressed to the Secretary, Palmerston North ; Entrance money enclosed with name, age at the time of entry, pedigree, and in the case of Handicaps, performance of the horse, name of the owner, ami colours of the rider. Any Jockey riding except in the colours entered will be fined 3 soys. When two or more horses start (the property of the same owner) a distinguishing colour must bo worn. All persons intending to withdraw horses, are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of Scales one halfhour before starting. Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine cf 5 soys to the race fund. All races to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive hau the stakes. No horse to save its stakes in any race except where otherwise specified. No entries or nominations will be received under any pretence whatever after the time specified for closing.
