Hall telegraphs that he is a passenger w Frisco by this months' mail — the move presumed to be the result of Vogol's . conference with the Sjdney Government. No word yet of the mail boat leaving Frisco, though she should have left a fortnight ago. It is uncertain still whether the Colima goes through to Frisco and Zealandia comes down to Port Chalmers, or Colima returns from Kandavau, and takes next outward mail.
Large sale of Crown Lands in Manawatu Block, contemplated shortly for the purpose of augmenting the revenue. The Land is being made accessible by a road. A new small farm settlement is proposed at Jlangitumau. It originated with the sons of certain Hutt settlers, who desire to find uew homes in a fresh country. The system will be on' deferred payments. -The Provincial Government favour the scheme.
