Mr Freeman R. Jackson's Weekly Report '.—
'Cattle.—The lots purchased for export requirements are 53 head at £6, and 32 head at the same figure. Sheep.—soo have been sold, delivery next month, shorn, but the price has not transpired.
Exports.—Owing to the late bad weather the exports have been light, no stock vessel having- left the port for 15 days. The Waihopai left to-day with 20 head of cattle for Nelson, and. the Charles Edwards for Manakau with 44 head of cattle and 240 sheep. Quotations. —Beef 17s, mutton 2|dpar lb.
NELSON.
Messrs Stavert and Co. report the sale of several hacks, most of which were brought from Wanganui by the Waihopai, at prices ranging from £4 5s to £16. Sept. 13.
