HAWKE'S BAY EXPORTS.

The value ofjho exports from the province of liawkes Bay, may be gleaned from the following list of vessels with the details of the cargoes : 'Venus.' brier, 237 tons, Capt. Baldock, left Port Ahuriri for London on the 9th January. Cargo : 1,008 bales wool, 2 kegs honey, and 1 case private effects, Value, £15,911. Ballarat,' barque, 685 tons, Capt. Rey- . nolds, left Port Ahuriri for London on the 24th January. Caroo : 2,997 bales wool, and 1 case bee's wax. Value, £77,000. ' Glenhuntly,' barque, 547 tons, Capt. Large, left Port Ahuriri for London on the 13th February. Cargo : 1,057 bales and 200 quarter-balos wool, and 11 bales skins. Value £53,502. 1 Rapido,' barque, 299 tons, Capt. Dougall, left Port Aliuriri for London on the Bth March. Cargo: 1,209 bales and 40 quarter-bales wool, 2 bales skins, -1 jars honey, 13 dumps and 17 bales llax, 2 chests private effects. Value £22,759. -—the total approximate value of the direct exports to the xn.otn.er country from this port during the season, therefore, amounts to the very respectable sum of £173,17:!. As to the large quantities of wool of Hawke's Bay produce which have been despatched to Wellington and other ports for transhipment to England, wo have no means of ascertaining its value. The quantity of wool exported by the above four vessels amounted to (3,867 bales and 339 quarter-bales.
