J. Strachan was brought up charged H'jth having been drunk and*disorderly. Fined 20s and costs, or 24 hours imprisonment.
Town Board v Jas. Mahone}'. Claim £5. Judgment by consent for amount and costs.
Richard Streeter v W. H Scott Claim—£2 8s
Defendant did not appear. The plaintiff being sworn said
claim the amount sued for, as money lent. The defendant calle ! me aside on Saturday niiiht and put down the money on the table ; I wrote out a receipt, and he lifted both money and receipt and walked away
Judgment ex parte for amount and costs.

Defendant made no appearance,
Plaintiff being sworn, said—l lent the defendant this money about four years ago ; the defendant is a Sub-In<pector in the Armed Constabulary. (A letter was here put in, in which the defendant expressed his intention of paying as soon as he received some pay then due.) Judgment ex parte for amount and costs.
