PROCLAMATION. By his Honor Oswald CuETis,Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of, Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c, &c. &c. WHEREAS, by an Act passed by the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Nelson, in Session X, No. 5, intituled, "In Act to provide for the abatement of the Dog Nuisance," it is enacted that the said Act shall come into operation within certain Districts, and in such other Districts as shall be proclaimed by the Superintendent in the Government Gazette for the Province, upon the request of a majority of the residents electors in such Districts: Now, therefore, I, the said Superintendent, at the request of a majority of the resident Electors of the Town of Westport, do hereby proclaim and declare that th« said Act shall come into operation, within a radius of two miles from the Court-House, in the said Town of "Westport, on and after the First day of July next.
